Okay, so I'm sitting in a little lounge in one of the hall's on campus. There is a classroom right next to the lounge. The door was left open and the class is watching a movie. I thought it was rather loud (considering i'm trying to read) so I went to close the door. I saw a teacher coming my way (I assumed she was coming to close the door, so i went ahead and closed it). As soon as it's closed she opens it and leaves it open. She starts heading down the hallway and I say:
Me: "Sorry, I thought you were coming to close it" - smile on my face
Her: *dirty look*
OOH OOH!!! So just NOW another teacher in the classroom next door came out while talking to his class, went into the classroom with the loud movie, looked around for her and came out. Here is what was said between us:
Me: "I saw her leave to go to the bathroom a few minutes ago"
Him: "You're just out here and it's bothering you! I talked to her this morning!"
Me: "Annoying, isn't it?"
Him: *nods and goes back into his classroom, shutting his door*
So, there is my little rant and rave for the moment. I find it quite inconsiderate when people don't respect others enough to allow for relaxed and comfortable learning environment. UGH!!! And all I wanted to do was read!!!
