My apartment is freezing. It's currently in the low 60's with a fairly steady wind coming in from the picture window of my living room even though the window is closed. It's an old window that just doesn't seal well.

My neighbor's apartment on the other hand, is in the mid 70's. He had a few windows open earlier today as well as a fan on. He turned the thermostat (the one that controls MY heat as well as his since we only have one) down to 50.

So, while his apartment is blazing hot, mine is freezing cold.

Furthermore, I fell asleep while grading papers this evening and did not get finished nearly what I wanted to. On the upside, I realized that an overwhelming majority of papers I brought home that I had to enter grades for, can go on next semesters grade, so I don't have to grade and enter them anytime soon. :)

EDIT: What's even worse, is when the heating vent in your living room is colder than the air already in the room....that's just wrong!
